In April 2018, our school was demolished. We need help to start again.

The Compassion school started in 2005 as a Community based School to give children access in Slums of Nairobi.
Since 2005 we have enrolled over 1000 children .
Our school was in rented premises on a church compound.
At the beginning of this year the church decided to construct a cathedral on the place where the school is located.

Homeless
In April the whole school was demolished by the church.
We were left with no place to continue giving access to education to several children.

Education continues
Our immediate action was to make sure the children educations was not disrupted and we hired a hall where children are now being educated.

Our new plans
The school committee brainstormed on the way forward and we have come up with a solution to lease a piece of land and raise funds to buy 10 containers to put up a decent school for children.
For the first phase we will buy 5 containers and second phase 5 containers total 10 containers.
